Pricing & Payment Options
To book on we have three room options available. The first option is to share with another athlete. You’ll be matched up to someone of the same gender, and we will match up friends if you know someone else who has booked onto the training camp.
The second option is to share and book with another friend. Name changes are allowed, and you’ll get a small saving when booking with a confirmed friend to share with.
The third is to stay in one of the twin rooms as a private occupant. There is an additional fee for single occupancy.

If you would like to share a room with another athlete (same gender) it’s £595 for the 7 nights. The price does not include flights or your evening meal but covers accommodation, packed lunches and all coaching mentioned in the itinerary.

Monthly Plan – Zero Deposit + 5 x payments of £119pm
Monthly Plan with £100 Deposit + 5 x payments of £99pm
Bike Hire is not included. For 5 days hire we expect to use the following bikes;
Standard: KTM Alto Elite Ultegra Disc – £160
Premium: KTM Revelator Alto Ultegra DI2 Disc – £210
The bikes listed are subject to availability, you’ll be asked to provide your required bike size once you have booked.
Additional nights (without coaching) are available subject to availability and demand. Where possible we will try to offer transfers for athletes departing on different days but we cannot guarantee this is possible until requested.
If you would like to book to share a twin room with a friend it’s £990 TOTAL for the 7 nights giving you a small saving.
There are also rooms with an additional sofa bed which sleep 3 (subject to availability) which will be reduce the price further. Message me for details.

We will require your friends name at the time of booking, however name changes are free of charge. Payment must be made each month from one account to avoid admin fees.

Your Weeks Itinerary
Arrive at Faro airport, airport transfer (approx 40 mins) to the villa is included where you will meet your coaches and get settled in. You’ll be free to explore the local town and beaches. We will have a group meet up before the evening meal where Don will give us an introduction to the language to help get you through the week.
Your first full day will be include an early morning beach run along Almancil De Pera, afterwards we will grab a coffee before returning for breakfast. Late morning we have organised a lovely yoga session with Theresa. After lunch there will be a road safety briefing, particularly important if this is your first time riding abroad or as a group. Jen will run through a Biomechanics testing session as a group which will help create a plan to improve your performance and prevent potential injuries.
Hired bikes will arrive Monday morning, so it only makes sense that we get out and have an explore of the Algarve on them as soon as we have everyone sorted! The main group will be out for 2-3 hours and a smaller loop will be offered if newer athletes require one. Once back from the ride you’ll be free to have the day to yourself, chill out in the pool, explore the area, or chat with your coaches about your plans for the upcoming season.
We’ll be putting in a day of active recovery today! Starting the morning bright and breezy with another yoga session to help loosen you up from the past few days. After breakfast Jen will be talking about injury prevention and recovery techniques along with Q&As on injuries and overtraining. The afternoon will involve us getting over to the pool where Don will be taking you through a coached session, Jen will be assisting and can film for video analysis as an additional extra. You’ll be able to spend the rest of the day recovering and relaxing ready for a big day on Wednesday.
We are aiming to start the day with a pool session in the morning (subject to approval with the local tri club in Albufeira), alternatively we will trek out to the beach for an open water swim session. Jen and Don can provide a sea safety introduction for anyone new to swimming OW. After breakfast we have the main bike ride planned, there are several routes we like to use and will choose the best option to suit the group ability/abilities. We will eat out for lunch during the ride, and you’ll be able to spend the evening recovering ready for the busy day planned for tomorrow.
We will be kicking Thursday off with a coached track session followed by super speedy transition tips, tricks and techniques. After breakfast we will head to the beach for a sea swim, and in the afternoon Jen will take everyone through a strength session and cover how to plan your strength & conditioning throughout the season.
On Friday we will be putting that transition session into practice with a ride to the pool where we will have a swim session. Once finished we will continue for a longer ride and get lunch whilst we are out. When we arrive back we will get out for a brick run down to the beach where we will finish off with a yoga session.
Departure day! You’ll be ready to return home full of motivation and focus for your upcoming season. You’ll have your plan in place, know how to push yourself without overtraining, and know how to test your biomechanics at home throughout the season. You’ll feel stronger, rejuvenated and ready for your events, you’ll have made memories and contacts with your fellow triathletes and of course with your coaches throughout the week. You’ll be welcome to message Don & Jen for advice and they will both be happy to help.
How To Get There

Flights are not included. The nearest airport is Faro, and most major airlines fly there on Saturdays. Easyjet is our preferred airline and flights can be as low as £80 when booked early so we recommend booking them as soon as you’ve secured your booking with us. You can fly your bike with you in a bike box for £45 each way with Easyjet. Fly with easyjet from the following airports;

DON HOLMES
Qualified Triathlon Coach with British Triathlon.
Don has been competing in Triathlon for over 15 years and at most distances. Finishing his 3rd 70.3 in 2022 after recovering from a fractured Femur in 2020. He has qualified for GB age group in 3 disciplines; Sprint, Super Sprint and Aqua-bike. Don is very focused, disciplined, and a dedicated coach who enjoys passing on his experience to both beginners and seasoned athletes.

JEN COPPOCK
Qualified Triathlon Coach with British Triathlon.
Jen is also a personal trainer with a Level 4 in biomechanics.
Her primary focus is injury prevention and rehabilitation, along with a more holistic approach to training and working out the inner motivations within athletes so training is tailored to their goals, strengths, weaknesses and also provided in a method that is enjoyable to the athlete to ensure consistency.
