Who Is Jen Coppock?
I’m here to help you move better, get stronger, and stay injury-free. But I wasn’t always a coach. I know first-hand how tough running can feel at the start. I began my running journey weighing well over 100kg, coming back from an ACL reconstruction. I understand what it’s like to struggle with running and to feel like progress is impossible. But through structured training, strength work, and consistency, I transformed my own running—losing the weight, overcoming injuries, and going on to run marathons and even complete a full Ironman triathlon (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run) in 2024.
Like many runners, I’ve battled overuse injuries—including anterior knee pain, Achilles tendinitis, and plantar fasciitis. Instead of giving up, I used my expertise in biomechanics, strength training, and movement assessment to create a programme that fixed these issues. This system has now helped over 100 runners worldwide get back to pain-free running. My passion is helping others. Whether you’re starting from scratch, training for your first 5K, or looking to build strength for marathons and ultras, I’m here to guide you. I take a science-backed, movement-first approach, helping you run stronger, move efficiently, and stay injury-free.
Get Ready For Your PT Session
I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to get the most out of your session. Before we get started, please take a few minutes to fill out the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ). This helps me understand your health, any injuries or concerns, and how to tailor your training to suit you best. Recommendations;
- Wear something comfortable that you can move freely in
- Good trainers to support your feet properly
- A water bottle to stay hydrated
- There’s a changing area if you need to bring a change of clothes
That’s it—just turn up, and I’ll take care of the rest! If you’d like to chat through your goals beforehand, I’d love to meet for a coffee and a quick chat to put your mind at ease. Just drop me a message to arrange it. I’m looking forward to helping you get stronger, move better, and feel great.
