Starting at Riverbanc, we will go along the canal to the Chainbridge Hotel near Horseshoe Falls. We will go across the Chainbridge, and through the tunnels and see the farewell inscriptions left by our local lads in WW1.

Crossing the A5 we will carry on up through the Vivod estate, crossing the bridge at the bottom of a very long and steep hill names locally as “The Ladder”. We will carry on across and up Foel Hill and come back down into Llangollen passing the thatched cottage that overlooks the town.  Once back in Llangollen we will cross through the town again to Riverbanc and I’ll be grabbing a coffee and cake, of course you’re all welcome to join me.
